Globex Syrup

100 ml bottle.

Treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anemia.

Ingredients
Each 5 ml contains:
Ferrous ammonium citrate (USP) – 75 mg
Vitamin B12 (USP) – 7.5 mcg
Folic Acid (B.P.) – 0,5 mg
Zinc sulfate (USP) - 20 mg
Pyridoxine chloride (B.P.) – 1,5 mg
Niacinamide (B.P.) - 50 mg

Iron is an essential trace element in a human body. It is involved in regulation of cellular respiration, and acts as oxygen and electron carrier in breathing.
Iron is also important for formation of hemoglobin. Iron deficiency leads to a decrease in the hemoglobin biosynthesis and causes hypochromic and microcytic anemia.
Folic acid is essential for healthy cell growth, normal reproduction, and heme formation. It decreases the risk of congenital abnormalities of the fetus.
Vitamin B12 stimulates cellular metabolism; it is involved in maturation of red blood cells and formation of nerve membranes. Meat is the only natural source of vitamin B12.
Zinc is an essential mineral for maintaining healthy bones, hair, skin; for faster wound healing, normal function of insulin and enzymes participating in digestion and respiration. Zinc is necessary for folic acid utilization in the body.
Niacinamide is essential for cellular respiration; it participates in energy generation processes, regulates carbohydrate metabolism, fat and protein metabolism; is important for maintaining healthy skin, normal function of the nervous system, and normal bile secretion.

Indication
- Iron-deficiency anemia
- Alimentary anemia
- Vitamin deficiency
- Megaloblastic anemia
- Anemia in pregnant and breastfeeding women

Use and Dosage
The drug can be administered on an empty stomach.
Adults – one tablespoon (15 ml) twice a day.
Children (over 2 years old) – 5 ml twice a day after eating.
For pregnant women the drug should be administered starting from the second trimester.

Side Effects
Gastrointestinal discomfort, constipation, diarrhea, epigastric pain, black stool.

Contraindications
Individual hypersensitivity to the drug ingredients.
Iron overload in body.
