Drug Actions

Bromhexine – an effective mucolytic drug. It facilitates expectoration of viscous and purulent sputum from the respiratory passages.
Guaifenesin softens dry non-productive cough by reducing the sputum viscosity, increasing its volume, and facilitating expectoration.
Menthol has an antispasmodic effect; it mildly stimulates the bronchial gland secretion, has antiseptic properties and improves the ciliated epithelium function of the bronchial mucosa.
